BURSA HOSPITAL

Built on an area of over 745,000m² in the Nilufer district of Bursa, the Bursa City Hospital was launched by the Ministry of Health. The project, which was completed in 2019, was designed to include three different hospitals with a combined bed capacity of 1,355; comprising of a 1,055-bed Main Hospital, a 200-bed Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital and a 100-bed High-security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital.

On this large-scale development with high occupancy levels, it was imperative to employ a comprehensive fire strategy to enhance safety within the building.

To assist with fire compartmentation and building occupant safety, over 70 BLE FC2 high-performance fire curtains were supplied and installed by BLE distribution partner, Protek.
