BLACKFRIARS CIRCUS

Barratt London’s Blackfriars Circus provides 336 homes in Central London, just South of the River Thames. Offering one, two & three bed apartments, its contemporary design was developed by Maccreanor Lavington Architects.

Working with longstanding UK distribution partner Thermax, BLE were asked to supply Blackfriars Circus with 115 x SC1 Smoke Curtains to seal the atrium of the building across multiple floors.

Speaking of the project, Thermax’s Sales Director Rob Hedley explains “The deadline for finishing this job was vital and having been brought into the project at a very late point, the speedy manufacture of the smoke curtains was vital”.

To ensure the project was completed on schedule, BLE co-ordinated weekly deliveries. Rob adds,“BLE were very accommodating with supplying the curtains in phases to allow us to commence with some of the floors almost immediately. The service we received was very professional and efficient. We know we can rely on BLE to get jobs turned around and they are always on hand to provide help and advice, should it be required”.
